Otter Rotters

Otter Rotters is an established not-for-profit community enterprise based in East Devon. Our primary aim is to find a sustainable way to tackle, at a local level, the growing problem of domestic waste disposal, in particular the organic fraction. We believe that waste is a resource which should be processed, re-used or recycled as near as possible to where it came from.

Proper Job

Proper Job grew from the Chagford Community Composting Project (CCCP). We are well rooted in all things compost and continue to pioneer composting in many ways. Proper Job has been instrumental in developing a range of ‘in-vessel’ composting equipment to safely and effectively deal with food waste and transform it into high grade compost.

Ridan

Ridan offers a range of composters, one of which will be suitable for your school. The best way to decide which size of Ridan you need is to measure how many litres of food waste are produced by your school each week. If it is less than 80 litres then choose the Small, between 80 and 200 litres then choose the Medium, between 200 and 400 litres choose the Large, if your school produces over 400 litres of food waste each week then you may need to use two Large Ridans.
